Fortnight of frivolity ahead in Brum!

Category : Regional updates

OK, so it’s not as hot as we’d all hoped and it’s SO windy but that’s no excuse to stay in and watch rubbish TV.  Besides you can catch up with it on-line these days ;-)

This week we have a bit of everything!  Tapas with Charli on Tuesday, After-Work Drinks with Lucy on Thursday and then our legendary Pub Crawl with Phoebe on Saturday.  We finish our weekend of socialising with Sunday Lunch with Victoria.

Any newbies out there?  Come and join us on Wednesday 1st June for our New Members’ Night.  These nights are especially for new members, they’re really friendly and informal and the best way to meet new people in Birmingham.

As we head into June you can come and join us for dinner in Kings Heath, drinks in The Mailbox and a trek around Birmingham’s best real ale pubs.

If you fancy something completely different, why not add your own social to the site? It takes a few minutes and is a fantastic way to make new friends in Birmingham.  Why not give it a try?

Looking forward to seeing you at a social soon!  Keep in touch by adding us as a friend on Facebook (CitySocialising Birmingham) or follow us on Twitter CS_Birmingham

Get ready for our next big mass mingle party !!

Category : Regional updates

With the scorching weather and the drizzly rain we have still managed to have some cracking fun at our socials. Even some of our oldest members still comment on how much fun they are having meeting new people and making new friends.

Brighton City Socialising has growth from strength to strength and we are always on the look out for great new venues and homely old ones to bring each and every member something fun and enjoyable that suits theirs tastes, and moods

We have some old favourites like pub quizzes, drinks, Sunday lunches and dancing but there’s a little more spark than that to Brighton CS as we throw into the mix a bit of Brighton flavour. He you tried Cabaret Bingo, Sewer Walks, Duke of Yorks, Park Games, Bike Rides and a whole lot more? Look out for them on the calendar!

But none of this would ever be great without two important ingredients; all you guys, the new and old members and of course the special people that host all the events !!

So please make sure you get the best out of City Socialising.

If you ever have a question, interested in becoming a CS host, need help creating your own social, or you just want to say hi please get in touch on the site or email me at zara@citysocialising.com.

There really is no better time to get involved with City Socialising so why not come along to a New Members Night, they are every two weeks and the next ones Tuesday 14th June.

And don’t forget the next big mass mingle on 8th July, its going to be bigger and better than ever before !!!

Hope to see you on a social soon and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and add us as a friend on Facebook!!

Happy Socialising from Zara your friendly Brighton Community Manager

Hi everyone

At the time of writing, it’s gorgeous and sunny here in Birmingham and this lovely weather has obviously brought out the social side of CS members! We’ve had some fantastic socials over the past couple of weeks so thanks to everyone for joining us!

This week, we’re counting down to Birmingham’s second Mass Mingle.  We’ve already got 75 people booked on and the last remaining spaces are going quickly so don’t miss out on the newest trend in online to offline socialising in your city!

Also coming up in July we have *takes deep breath*  Cinema Social at The Electric, Curry Night, Tapas, Girls Night Out, Drinks & Dancing, Sunday Lunch, Acoustic Sessions,  & Italian Brunch.   Not forgetting of course, our regular New Members’ Night - specially geared to make new members feel welcome.

So, there’s something for everyone – if there’s nothing you fancy, then suggest it or upload it yourself.  It’s dead easy and a really fantastic way to meet new people in Birmingham.

We would like to welcome our lovely new hosts; Pooja and Tom who’ll be hosting their first socials in August.  On the subject of hosting, we have a couple of spaces available in the team so if you can commit to hosting one social per month, would like to get your membership for free and REALLY want to make new friends in Birmingham then e-mail sophie@citysocialising.com

Have a great week, get in touch if you have any questions
